Preparing for RPM 2025

Yooo, first post of the year and it’s already damn near the end of the month. My main focus this month is my next release (stay tuned), but 1B is getting some sort of concepts/titles/ideas prepared before RPM starts. I’m thinking it will help the “back yourself into a corner” method of writing that I default to. So far, I’ve got some Seinfeld titles/references written down. Oh! I also used RPM’s Band Name Generator to find some weirdness; “RNC Slush” and “ATM Loonie” are already on my list. This stuff writes itself. My other goal for RPM is to document most of the writing/recording process. The idea is to have some weekly(?) video blogs covering some of what I’ve been working on. I don’t post many videos of me actually working on a song, so it’ll be a nice change of pace.

With that said, I have my goals for the year planned out (mostly). The slogan for 2025 is “There are no bad songs.” Like bro, just put the damn music out if you’re feeling it. Even if it doesn’t feel perfect. It’ll never feel perfect. blah blah blah. I think I said this last post? I won’t go back to check. Also had a few ML gigs this month, feelsgoodman.
